Kell's Comments from Round 1

We talked a little bit at dinner about what did everyone do for their points during round 1. So I am going to give a quick run down of what I did. I lost a total of 5 Pounds! I was excited about that, I fit into a couple pairs of pants that I haven't been able to get into. I sarted off with No Diet Coke that was one of my Wild Cards, that really helped me get all my water in so that took care of 2 points. Then I did my pilates videos each day or night which ever worked, I did at least 30 pushups each day (girl style), then I on good days I took a walk. I loaded the kids up in the stroller and went over to the church and made laps it was cold but it worked. Then for my other points I worked on my personal prayers. I did pretty good, there where a few nights that I was up with Kale and remembered that I didn't get that done so I said them then while I rocked him back and forth. Then for the other point I wanted to read for 20 minutes everyday. I read books, magazines, stuff from work, stuff on the internet whatever it was just read. So that made up my points nothing to fancy but stuff I needed to work on and things I am still doing even without getting a point for. I can tell that it made a big difference on me and how I am as a person. It would be fun to hear from everyone else on what they did and how they feel about it all. Thanks so all for played in round 1 and helped motivate me along. I hope to do even better in rounds 2, maybe I can get another 5 pounds off, wouldn't that be nice.

Kell's Week #1

So I am reporting that week one was off to a good start. I got my workouts in morning or night when ever I didn't have kids on top of me. My water and fruits and vegi's all went well thanks to V8 Juice. I ended the week with 41 points, not bad for my first week in. I guess I am still on a roll, not that it was a big one but it was a good one. So who else is in for this round, I haven't heard from anyone at all for sure. Well I guess if it's just me I am ok with that I need the routine and so far it's working for me. Oh, I also worked on the Weekly Challenge and did pretty good.

Round #2 is starting!!

The daily point system is as follows:

  • 1 Point – drink 64 oz. of water daily
  • 1 Point – 3 servings of fruits or vegetables
  • 1 Point – 30 min. exercise
  • 1 Point – each additional 15 min of exercise (on top your initial 30)

So if you exercise for 1 hr. you get 3 points. Example: Do a 30 min
Work-out in the morning for 1 point and a 30 minute walk in the evening for
3 points total.

  • 1 Point – Personal Wellness. Example: Read a book, scriptures, ensign, lesson prep, something you can do to give yourself some quality "me" time.
  • 1 Point – WILD CARD some of your personal challenges. Quit Diet Coke; keep your house clean, no sugar, personal prayer, etc. Example: If one of your personal challenges is to not drink diet coke, and you don’t have one today you get 1 point.
MAXIMUM OF 2 WILD CARDS PER DAY!!

From Eric week #5

AND P.S!!!!! I NEVER HAD A MISSED PHONE CALL FROM YOU MR.!!!!! NOT MY CELL.. NOT MY HOUSE... MAYBE YOU HAVE THE WRONG-O NUMBER!

Marhaba, Shlonick? (Hello, How are you?)

What happened to last week? I remember calling Kell because Chels screens her calls and I'm not approved. JERK! Then today I was thinking what day is it and holy crap I'm late on turning in my point-es. So my point-es for this week are 57. It was a little warmer this week so water was no problam-o dude. It's still only 70ish so not quite tanning weather also the only skin I can expose is my hands and my head so I don't know about you Cam but that's not quite my idea of a "sexy" tan. Nothing says sexy like a good ol' turkey farmer tan. Enough about my lack of skin exposure. I finally got my pictures from visitation yes we're allowed visitation here. Oh wait not us the detainees are allowed visitation and some times they let us go hand out stuff to the kids. This is an amazing experience. However, it makes you really miss home and the joys of little ones. I'll send these full size and you can post them if you cut the adult females out of the pics. Long explanation about cultural beliefs and all that good stuff. If you're really curious I'm sure Jason will fill you in just call him or shoot me an email and I'll e-mail you a briefing.
I have had a very difficult time the last little while I'm struggling to find any good here and the anger monkeys are beginning to chase off my oblivious butterflies(their pretend, but the monkeys are real). I'm getting better now though. Don't worry about me I can always vent by yelling at very bad people really loud from the tower. So after a few days of venting I've regained my sanity. Sorry I'm rambling. Aubree said she has sent a couple different e-mails that haven't been posted. What's the deal is she getting blamed for someone else's slacking? or are the e-mails not getting received? I am extremely proud of everyone and wish you the very best of luck. Keep plugging along and make some phone calls to these slackers over on the left that haven't posted a single thing yet. WE NEED MORE LOSERS!!! I love and miss you all keep up the hard work and if any of you need to vent feel free to let me know and I'll yell your frustration for you. (no detainees were actually yelled at for the purpose of frustration relief it was only included for the comic relief factor) (<-- that comment is for the sensors reading this. ;) Hi, guys!) KEEP ON LOSING!!!!

Aubree week #5

Aubree's Week 5: 55 points. Total points: 250.
I really have been sending my points, but I guess they
got lost in cyberspace. Sorry! Sounds like Holdie
and I might be up North this weekend for an Unsicker
thing, so I'm game with dinner (wherever)! Let me
know. Thanks

**Aubree,
I am so sorry! I guess I don't know this gmail account very well. I went thru everything and saw there was one from you I missed posting. I'm so sorry! I'll watch better :)

THAT MAKES AT LEAST 4 OF US!

I know of at least 4 of us, that have told at least. That have tried on some pants that they didn't think would fit and they did. That is AWESOME! That makes it all worth it, I think anyway. Way to go.

Kell Reporting Week 5

I can't hardly believe that week 5 is now over. It seems like I just posted what happened in week 4. Well we spent a couple days in Idaho is it was a bit tough to get the exercise in. There was snow taller than me, it was dang cold but we had fun. I guess maybe I could count pulling the sled up the hill as exercise. Anyway it was tough to get as many points as I wanted but I pulled through with some. Also had a few sleepless nights so that made it a little harder to wake up early and do my work out. I came home from Idaho and through out all the cookies, brownies and any other Valentine candy that I thought I would eat. I ended the week with 41 points which isn't much compared to some but better than I thought I would do. So week 6 is going to be my best week yet. I know I am not going to break any records but I at least need to end big. Well big for me, so Eric I don't think you need to worry that I will catch up with you but I would like to end one week at least with as high of numbers as you do. It has been fun at least for me. I had to tell just this one funny thing. I was doing my 8 minute buns workout the other day. Makenna said "Mom your bum is huge" that just made we keep working harder. By the time I was done I thought I was going to die. Then the next day I was doing it again and she stood behind me and said "Mom I think you bum got tiny." I was laughing so hard it was funny. Anyway hope everyone has a good week, and I would love to hear how everyone else is doing. I check this all the time to see how everyone else has done. I think we need to put dinner on the Calendar. How about Saturday the 29th, 6:30 at Sizzler in East Bay, Provo. Or maybe we could go to that family place down in Mona. Anyway I think we just need to say this is the time and place, we can settle out for the first session of Biggest Loser and Kick Off the 2nd one. I am game so let me know if anyone else wants to show up. SDLY Kell

From Connie week #4

Hey Everybody,
I'm slow getting my points turned in but I'm hanging in there.
Wk 1- 59pts Wk 2- 28pts, Wk 3- 37pts, Wk 4- 25, Wk 5- ends Sunday so I'll add those tomorrow. How's everyone else doing? I've got to get eating under control, Then I would really see some progress. I was pretty excited to put some jeans on that I bought last spring from my neighbor who sells the CAbi line of clothes. She was having a baby and closing everything out. They are $100 jeans I bought for $20 only problem was they are a size 10. It's been a while since I could really wear a ten. I could get them on but the "Muffin Top" kept me from actually wearing them out in public. Well Fri morning I tried them on just for the heck of it. That a ricky thing to do on your 43rd Birthday, but I was pretty thrilled that I wasn't hanging over the top Yeah- so all this exercise in really making a difference. See you at the Gym Love Connie

From the Beal's week #4

WHERE IN THE WORLD HAS THE TIME GONE! We are already finished up with week 4 and are well into week #5... I guess actually since I am a slacker (not my last name... ha!).. week #5 is almost over. Week #4 was actually really good for us. This house hunting thing and selling our house has absolutly CONSUMED our lives... but yet we were still able to get some "losing" done.. I ended the week with 45 points.. although I REALLY REALLY wanted at least 50.. OH WELL! Jesse also had 45. We seem to stay right on each others toes. I actually have to say... since January 1 I have lost 13 lbs!!! YAY! But I cheated a little bit.. I was on weight watchers for a while.. lost 5.. then nothing... for weeks... even with this competition!...soooo.. Ann and I decided to go a little crazy and do the Atkins diet (i'm sure there are many of you who don't agree with that diet...)..but I have lost 8-ish more pounds in 2 weeks... I'm an "instant sucess" needer.. I need to see results immediatly.. or I lose allll motivation. Soo that atkins has helped.... Ann and I have just been pushing each other.. checking in to make sure we are not splurging on potato chips etc... then ... 2 weeks into it... Ann finds out that if you only have ONE KIDNEY... Atkins is like the most horrible thing you can do! WOOPS! So I may be on my own now.. But other than that.. we still just plung along... drinking our water.. eating our veggies.. LOTS AND LOTS of lettuce, spinach, broccoli.. stuff like that.. cause thats what atkins likes!
I really have started to make a chart so we can see everyone's success... but I havn't finished... I will get to that.. one day soon.
We are definetly up for dinner any time.. Still Sizzler? Lets just make the plan...

From Slacks week #4

Ok last week was hard and this week is about over and just now I am
reporting my totals. Cameo with 33 and Jason with 55. I am slackin -
that is my last name. I am doing better now though. I would love to
get together for a dinner with everyone. How about friday -so soon?
Next week? Sunday? I am game for anything.
Congratulations Kell for making it into those Jeans!!! That is awesome!
I wish I had anything to show for my efforts - nuthin notta zip - just
some sore muscles here and there and lots of pee! Yip still peeing and
still drinking. But I will still get the workout in and the water in
and be happy!
Sure Do Love Yall and I want to hear what you have to say - Conn, Tay,

Week 4 from Eric

I got a phone call from Eric on Monday night it was good to hear from him. He was calling to give his report of his week. He said he didn't feel like typing his weekly report so he called to give it instead. He sounded great. He said he didn't do so well this last week. He only ended the week with 56 points. I still think he probably did better than anyone else. Anyway all is well with him and he said he can tell a difference. He was looking at some pictures of when he came home on visit and then some that were taken recently and couldn't believe how different he looked. I think that is awesome. I know I am not giving as good of a report as he would be all is well with the Soldier. SDLY Kell

From Racquel week #4

What a week it has been. Lots of Sugar Cookies and Brownies it was tuff. Valentines is hard with all those treats. But with all that being said it was still a good week for me. I ended the week with 43 points, my best week ever. I can say I am feeling better by the day. I pulled out my old 8 Minute Abs, Buns, Thighs and Arms video the other day and added that to my routine. The other morning I had Kendick and Makenna watching me and Kale sitting on top of me. Try doing your crunches with you wiggly kids on top of you. It was rough but it felt good. When I start being a wimp Makenna will say "Mom that is not what they are doing" it makes me laugh and keep trying. I fit into some pants that I haven't been able to wear since I had Kendrick, why I still have those pants is a good question he is 6 but the fact that I can wear them and move around in them makes me happy. So thanks to all who have posted their words of motivation. For those of you who haven't posted, WHAT'S UP? Let's hear from you even if it hasn't been a good week. Happy Loosing and what about that dinner at Sizzler can we make that happen sometime before this round it over.

News from Slack's week#3

I have found the cure for my cold feet!
I don't know if it is the
water consumption or the stretching,
but something seems to be
working. I can actually go to bed with
warm feet and that is amazing
for me. I always have to lay in bed
and get my feet warm before
I can relax enough to fall asleep.
So give the stretching a try,
I know the water is working for you all.
I am actually getting use
to water. Like Mom i still like my Diet Coke,
I do always
get that about 10ish each morning.
The spreadsheet on the
fridge is a great daily reminder of what
I need to get done.
This week i finished up with 44
points and Jason with 49.
He was out of town for a few days,
and still managed to get those push
up in and some time on the treadmill.
I am fighting a nasty cold, was
down and out a few days, but back in the game!
Thanks for the
encouragement from my nephew in Iraq,
I don't know how any of us have
ability to catch his points! Eric you better
be looking like the real
GI Joe!!! you better go get a tan too!
(that doesn't earn points though)

Chelsey how about a graph to show the
weekly reports of everyone! That
would be motiviating!!
Love all of ya - make the changes you
have been wanting to- you are the
only thing stopping you-
this is amazing!

The Old Ones

Well, here we go again. I had just written my little bit and since we are in the learn curve it all vanished, so with the help of Melissa we will give it another try.
It is good to read what each of you have shared. You are amazing and you make me want to try harder. We havent been doing so great but we do see signs of improvment in our eating. We are getting our veggies thanks to V8 and the water thing is still more than a body really needs I think and Warren feels like it is overflow but any improvment is good, Right? There still isn't a thing that makes diet coke sound bad and it still likes me. Irene has given up her 64oz diet Dr Pepper for water so that is pretty amazing. I didn't think I would ever see that day. So for us to be more aware of waht we are eating and drinking has got to be good for us. Warren is claiming an 8 lb loss but I have to see a difference in the way my pants fit before I need to weigh so that hasn't happened yet. We are recommiting on the exercise thing. It is easier to say that on a sunny day. I can't make myself go out in the cold even for this. Improvment is what we are after, right? Perfection will have to come on another week. Keep drinking and sweating or glowing and have agreat week. Sdly Grandps and Granma

News from Kell week # 3

So the week is finished and I can't hardly believe it. So it is probably
obvious to everyone else by now but Cade never started this round and really
hasn't been the best cheerleader for me anyway. But I am still working at
it, and not giving up. I ended the week with 39 points again not where I
wanted to be but an improvement over the other weeks so that is better. I
can tell that it is making a difference and that is what I wanted. So good
luck to all for the next week and hopefully we can all do better than we did
this week. SDLY Kell

From the Beals week #3

We seem to stay slow but steady around here. I ended the week with 40 points and Jesse with 41. I really thought that I would do better than I have done so far. But it is harder than I thought.. I have decided to set a goal each week of how many points I want to get.. I know its not about the points.. its about what you do.. But I need a motivating push this week.. I want to get at least 50 points this next week. Hopefully that will help!

News from Eric for week #3

Hello all,

How goes the battle? This week was not a great week but some how I manged to still squeeze out 54 points. Giving me 171 so far.One of the guys I go to the gym with got a new baby girl this week and so we took a day off to celebrate the occasion. Then none of us were feeling very well another day so we took that one off as well. Where is all this going? Spending lots of extra time at the gym is saving my butt in this here competition. I'm feeling a little disheartened I was really excited when I saw how many people were going to be "playing" with us. Yet, every week it seems like less and less people are turning in their totals. What the hell? I know one of my biggest problems is just making it happen. QUIT PUTTING IT OFF!!! Take the 10 min. you have and use them. If these working moms, moms with multiple kids and my wife can do this so can you. I'm not the greatest motivator because all I have is time. So 2 hours at the gym is no biggie. It's honestly a welcome escape from this life sucking hole!

Our number one rule at the gym is NO PRIDE AT THE GYM! I'm saying NO PRIDE IN THE LOSERS! Lets all get some points posted even if it's 1 or 2. This whole thing is about bettering ourselves. 1 point means you are on the road to a better happier you. I know from life experience there is no greater support group that this one! Which reminds me, everyone who has sent cards, books, gifts, silly e-mails, etc.... Thank you thank you! I've been horrible about writing back or calling or anything but you need to know that everything you all have done has not gone unappreciated. YOU GUYS ROCK! I love you all and HAPPY LOSING!

Harward House Week #2

Well, once again we are WAY behind. I want to give up, but I won't. (ha) I have a whole bunch of really good excuses why we don't have very many points.........but they really don't matter do they! Oh well, we are going to hang in there. I actually don't really know how many points we have. I didn't even manage to keep very good track. Last week was SO crazy. So......I'm taking a wild guess. Morgan 25 and me 25. I like Cam's idea of using a spreadsheet. I'm going to make one today. I'm really motivating aren't I! (ha, ha). We are the example of what you shouldn't do! We'll see if we can do better this week. But despite everything I have lost 2 pounds in the last two weeks - must be stress - who knows, but I'll take it!

Tuesday, February 5, 2008

News from Patrick

I had 41 points this week. The catheter thing while a good idea tends to be slightly uncomfortable and I never know what to do with the bag. I set it on the table at lunch with clients the other day and it just seemed to make the lunch uncomfortable. I have decided this week to try Depends, I am finding however the CostCo brand makes less of a rustling sound in Cold Weather. Thanks and good luck to all. P

Slack Fam week totals

Ok so Jason posted the running total - I want to see my weekly number, since that is consistant with y'alls. We got out numbers a bit wrong last week - we had daily totals from sunday to sunday - should have been sunday to saturday. We have corrected the addition so last week Cameo had 47, this week 42, last week Jason had 49 this week 50.
I tell you what, those perfect push up thingys are making him look mighty fine. They just only make me hurt and want to stop, I think I will just keep hiding my six pack under my thermos of fat. Morg - Melissa said she will get you some perfect pushups so you'll quit mocking her gayboy workout friends!
The veggies are getting easier - my body still isn't quite sure how to handle them, I am getting them in. The water too. The only thing that saves me is that I am home all day and not stuck on the other side of the lake with Pat! I laughed so hard at that! As long as my water is in by 6pm I can sleep all night! I love this game it is doing good things for me! Stay Strong!

From the Slacks

Hello to all and congrats on the great work. First of all for all of you who find it hard to drink the water I have found the solution. I went to the Dr. and got a portable catheter which goes with me everywhere and I don't have the problem that Pat talked about last week. If this sound to expensive a empty Mt Dew bottle should work fine. Cade this may give some reason to quit, just think of the factory workers who bottle Mt. Dew that have to much time on their hands. We have been pretty active, Cameo still gets up at 6:00 a.m. for her morning run and I find time during the day to hop on the treadmill to get my exercise in. Rachel makes sure we get our vegies and water. Continue the great work and keep drinking the water.
Cameo has 89 points to date
jason has 99 points to date

Here is a fun note from Eric

Hi guys,

I've had fun doing this. It has been interesting finding ways to get my vegis. Because we work away from the main part of the base our meals are brought out to us. And lets just say they don't want to waste the food that everyone will enjoy by sending it out to us. Every meal is either some form of violated chicken or beef. Every once in a while there will be something they try to pass of as pork or veal. We order salads with dinner chow but usually they barely pass as a pile of lettuce with a few carrots and under developed tomato slices. So I too have been trying to run to the chow hall before work to snag some V8. The only problem is that they're only single serving cans and I can only take 2 at a time out of the chow hall. So all and all it's been a struggle for me too. The gym part of it all has been easy though there is nothing else to do. That and I've been going with a great group of guys that help make it fun. There's about 8 of us that go together. It's been great. I'm glad we can all blog our progress together and I'm excited to be able to participate in a "family function". Thanks for all your love and support. You guys are the greatest.

Eric a.k.a. Riot Maker

From the Beals week #2

This week was still hard for us. I started out the week doing so good.. excercising 2 hrs a day.. because i was going to catch up with everyone else. Then.. the kids got sicker... (lame excuse.. but its hard with sick clingy kids.. to get much excercise in).. then we went to Richfield wednesday thru friday.. and that totally thru me off. For some reason I get into vacation mode there.. and think I can eat whatever I want and not excercise. I ended up with 43 pts. Jesse ended up with 41. I'm sure we will never catch up now... but we will surely keep plunging on!

From the Dunns week #2

Week 2 was a little bit better. I ended up with 43 points, not as good as I
wanted to end the week but better than I did the first week. I am feeling
lots better. I have been having trouble with my arms going to sleep in the
night and it has been very painful but I have noticed this last week that
the my arms and hands aren't going to sleep as much. It makes for a much
nicer night. So if I don't accomplish anything else with this competition I
will at least get rid of the pain that will be worth it. So far so good we
will see next week though.

From the Harwards week #1

**SORRY I FORGOT TO POST THIS YESTERDAY**

We are feeling a little embarrased about our total of points. Morgan had 22 and I had 25. The rest of you guys ROCK! Guess we better step it up a knotch and get with the program. We only exercised 3 times last week and drinking the water has just been killer! Its fun to see what everyone else has been doing and a good motivator for us to get with it!!! Good luck to all this week.

Monday, January 28, 2008

That first week is the toughest

I can't tell you how good the Mountain Dew is tasting--well i guess i can try. DAMN GOOD it is amazing how 64ounces can go down so easily. Good Luck to all and see you on the lake in three months. If the biggest loser thing doesn't work, I will buy a turbo for the boat. Sorry--got to go the Mountain Dew is done chilling in the fridge. OUT

From the Perrett's week #1

Ok, So my point total was 44 for the week and it was brutal, no pepsi except for Fri. I had a weak moment after Miles's team got beat. And the WATER curse you Jason Slack!! I actually have to pee as I sit here and try to write.!! My bladder is having a nervous breakdown. I had a meeting in Saratoga Springs the other day and forgot to go before and by the time I got out I couldn't stand up straight. There are no public bathrooms on that side of the lake and NO Trees!! I looked! I am surprised I lived.
Other than that, well the veggies and fruit and exercise stink to and the no Pepsi or chocolate...
But other than that this is Great! I have lost 7 pounds since New Years.

Good Luck To ALL
P

So here are the totals for Taylor and I for this week:
Taylor has 52 points
Connie has 55 points
Thanks for the words of encouragement and little bit of pressure.
Love, Connie

From the Slack's week #1

Here are the totals for the Slack house! Jason 54 Cam 52 Let me tell you
the competetion is fierce, since Jason has a treadmill in his office and
a weight room around the corner, it makes it pretty easy for him to get
an extra point here and there. He has been very vigilant with his
"perfect push-up" program, those things kill me! Rachel is cheering me
on with my water. She will ask throughout the day - Mom how many waters
have you had. I too am drinking V8 for lunch. But unlike Chelsey, I
really like it. Along with a piece of whole wheat toast, I am glad to
know what is for lunch. I hate lunch being a stay at home mom. The
water and veggies are by far the hardest for me! Jason made a
spreadsheet that is posted on the fridge, it lists all the elements of
the competition. I check off what I have done during the day, so does
Jason. Rachel checks to see who has done what for the day. She is a
great cheerleader. I can see how I can teach by example - especiall the
friut and veggies.

I want to get together week after next - so that would put us week 3 -
what about lunch on a saturday at Sizzler in East Bay - kind of a 1/2
way celebration and support group. What do you think?

The other day Jason was headed off the the weight room, he told his
assistant where to find him if they needed him. She said why are going
there.... he told her of our competition, needless to say she was
thrilled with the ideas. She was going to start the same thing with her
family. She said many of them are in much need of some health
improvements. I love this.

Keep Moving!! 10,000 steps a day - but do more if you really want the
pounds to move, 10,000 is just to fight off Heart Disease!

From the Beals week #1

Well at the Beal home we WERE actually doing really well until friday hit! We didn't so so well AT ALL this weekend. I ended up with only 38 points and Jesse with 31. But I tell you what!!! After seeing what the totals are from other competitors... I WILL SURELY BE GETTING MY BUTT IN GEAR!!!! I thought I was doing... somewhat okay .. even missing the most of the weekend points... OH NO! I guess I better go get on the treadmill! The only thing that worked for us is JUST DO IT!!! It really isn't that hard. I decided rather than sit down to watch oprah... watch it on the treadmill.... who would have ever guessed!!! Just kidding. It was hard at first to get all that water in.. I felt like I was 9 month pregnant again.. running to the bathroom every second. I havn't had to get up in the night to go to the bathroom since I was pregnant. But I just try to just have a little ALL day long and that has helped. This week my goal is TO NOT LET ANYONE ELSE WIN!!! And maybe that will help me to catch up! I am so impressed that everyone is working so hard. So fun! I think it just makes you want to work that much harder to see everyone else's progress and hearing what they are doing.

As far things that helped us.. with veggies and fruit.. We bought a bunch of V8 (cans) that are 2 servings of f&v each. I have to drink it with a straw.. pointed cleeeeaaar back at the back of my throat... hold my nose.. and just guzzel!!! HA HA!! But that works great! The other thing I love is to make that smoothy/shake that I have posted at the bottom of the blog. It sounds yuck but really its yum! That really helps us get our fruits and veggies in. So now.. I guess we will just go for it hard!
May the BEST LOSER WIN!!!

From the Dunns week #1

It's finally over!! What a week. That really was harder than I wanted it to
be somedays but other days it was easy. As of right now Cade doen't think
he is playing because he says he got a slow start because I didn't give him
enough notice. Whatever I told him he has already paid to play so he better
play. We will see.

I didn't get as many points as I wanted to for this week. It has been a bit
crazy around our house we did home improvements on the Kitchen and Family
Room and it has taken the entire week. I ended the week with 36 points. I
haven't hit the scales yet but I am guessing I haven't moved much there.

So to another week, I am already off to a good start more motivated than
last week and I am ready to get more point and drop some pounds.

I don't have any good recipes yet, but that is because I can't find my
recipe box I will find it today. For motivation - I found if you don't
drink Diet Coke or soda pop, it's easier to get all that water in. The days
that I had a Diet Coke there was no way I could get the water in. But the
days I didn't have a Diet Coke I had more than 64oz of water.

That is all from me.

Get Ready...Get Set... Go!

We are getting geared up to start the Harward family BIGGEST LOSER Competition. For any of you who have never seen the hit show, you should start watching! Its a great motivator! On the show, people train hard and eat healthy and try to shed the pounds and get in shape for their weekly weigh-in. At the end of the season, the person that has lost the most body percentage of weight wins big.
We are gearing up to start our own Biggest Loser Competition. This competition isn't going to be just about losing any excess "skin" we might be carrying around, (because there are many who don't have much or any to lose) but its also about losing any bad habits we may have and gain good habit. Its a competition to LOSE or GAIN anything that we feel necessary to better ourselves.
You will each be getting an email in the next week that explains this competition in greater detail.
This competition will be a FUN thing to do as an entire family. If you are already in shape and don't need to lose any weight.. maybe there is a habit you need to kick or gain. If you don't need to work on any of the above... We need you to join in as motivators for all the competitors. If we all work together and motivate each other we can do ANYTHING!!

**Stay tuned for more information**
This is going to be a fun and exciting thing!
